- How do I join? Complete the membership form and choose a contribution level; no one is turned away.
- Are dues required? Contributions support programs, but volunteer participation is equally valuable.
- When are meetings? First Tuesday each month at 7:00 PM with hybrid options; agendas posted in the newsletter.
Events & neighborhood life
- How do I host an event? Submit your idea to the events committee for support with promotion and logistics.
- Where can guests park? Encourage visitors to use on-street parking while keeping driveways and fire hydrants clear.
- Can I reserve Lake Daniel Park shelters? Reservations go through Greensboro Parks & Recreation.
Preservation & property questions
- Do I need approval for exterior changes? Projects visible from the street should align with historic guidelines; contact the preservation team for help.
- Are short-term rentals allowed? Follow City of Greensboro regulations and inform neighbors about guest schedules.
- How do I report a tree concern? Contact City of Greensboro Urban Forestry or the Beautification Committee.
Safety & city services
- Who do I contact for non-emergency issues? Use Greensboro Police NOP contacts or dial 336-373-2222.
- How do I report streetlight outages? Submit a request through Duke Energy with the pole number.
- Where can I find trash and recycling schedules? Visit the City of Greensboro Solid Waste webpage for weekly routes and holiday changes.
