Here’s a map of the event and a sneak peak of some of the artists showing at the Westerwood Art & Sole studio tour on October 7th, 10 am- 5pm.

Stop #2: Patrick Rowe

Always a fun stop for the whole family…kids will be able to carve clay pumpkins and Patrick will be holding demonstrations. Here’s a sneak peek of the beautiful pieces Patrick has been creating for this year’s Art and Sole.

Stop #4: Yvette Fortier
Yvette is a new artist on the tour this year and we’re happy to have her. Be sure to stop in and see Yvette and her paintings during the tour. Here’s what she had to say about her work:

“I started in art as a little girl. I quickly found peace and tranquility from life’s hardships through drawing and painting. Unfortunately, I did not attend art school. However, I am proud to say that, as far as my artistic talent is concerned, I am God taught. Although I moved away from art as a young adult, I recently picked my art back up. My art is inspired by my journals, my experiences, and my dreams. My artwork usually begins with a vision or dream, then a sketch, which then turns into a painting. I am hopeful that my artwork will inspire and uplift others.”

Stop #6: Ann Lynch

will have a selection of large serving bowls available at the 9th Annual Westerwood Art & Sole neighborhood studio tour on Saturday, October 7th, 10am – 5pm. Free, family-friendly event in a wonderfully creative Greensboro neighborhood. Plan to stop by all studios on the tour to say hello and see what Westerwood artists have been up to lately.
